About Me
I am 37 years old and have grown up in the Valley. I have lived in Scottsdale for eleven years on one acre of horse property. I am the proud parent of an 11-year old daughter and a 13-year old step-son, 5 dogs and 1 cat. Our family has owned horses, goats, hamsters, and guinea pigs over the years.
I have volunteered as a rescue volunteer for the ASPCA, AzASPCA, HSUS, Arizona Humane Society and Maricopa County Animal Control as a Reserve Animal Control Officer. I spent two weeks running a temporary animal shelter in an outside arena in Lufkin, Texas and a week doing animal rescue of dogs, cats, horses, cattle, and pigs in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina/Rita. So far, that has been the most rewarding experience of my life other than having my daughter. I have been grooming professionally for four years but have been doing it for twenty.
The family enjoys a second home in Arkansas where we love to play on the lake with our water toys. I also attend Scottsdale Community College pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice and Equine Science.
